After a thousand days of war in Ukraine the EU is weighing the next significant milestone, the second coming of Doinald Trump to the White House. Trump is already influencing the way Europe plans to defend itself, and there is more change coming.

For more on this, we talk to Benjamin Tallis. He's the Director of the Democratic Strategy Initiative, a Berlin think tank. He's also the co-author of an open letter that has been published today, calling on Europe and Canada to join forces in defending Ukraine from Russian aggression.
