The Truth About Protein and Building Muscle

In this video, I debunk some of the myths around protein that I use to believe before going Plant-Based. There's this misconception that we need to consume animal products in order to build muscle. After watching supreme athletes like Venus Williams in tennis, Nate Diaz in MMA, David Carter and Malcolm Jenkins in the NFL, Kendrick Weight Lifting Olympian, Kyrie Irving and Deandre Jordan in the NBA, and Patrik Baboumian broke the world record for the most weight ever carried by a human being, lugging 1,216 pounds across 10 meters that myth slowing becoming unraveled. In the video I explain how plant-based proteins are a cleaner and a more efficient source of protein for building muscle. ALL PROTEINS ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL. I also give my recommendations for the best sources of COMPLETE plant proteins for athletes and those that are super active!

Thank you. This is the 2nd time I went plant based & kinda forgot about a lot of the lifestyles adjustments. Started with a 3 day water cleanse & started juicing afterwards. Definitely lost some muscle as well but my main priority is shedding some pounds then getting back to the weights.

This is an awesome explanation of the inefficiency of consuming animal proteins vs plant proteins (amino acids). Thanks Dr. Bobby.

I've been searching for hours for someone legit speaking about plant-based diets for athletes. It's so much misinformation from athletes who are wanna be scientists. WE NEED MORE INFO FROM DR. PRICE

Dr. Bobby, how much protein is recommended? Is there a range / number of grams? I read in your book that 55g per day is overstated. Would approximately half that be fine for non athletes ? 25-30g? And the 55g is better for you athletes? And you’ve never seen a protein deficiency, then just balance meals are ok? I’m kinda confused doc 🤷🏽‍♀️ please clarify? ❤️
Thank you for this channel & vids Dr. Bobby 🙂 👑

I love your content and I went to your website as you instructed, I scrolled down but didn't see the free plant-based starter kit you mentioned at the end of your video. I sent a message about this through your site contact option. I'm sure I've probably overlooked it and I look forward to your response. Thank you for all that you are doing. Peace...

I’m still baffled and really want to know why did Jesus multiply the fish and bread and why did the King prepare the fattened calf to celebrate at the party his sons return home in the Bible. I think we can have these things in moderation and I like the collagen from cooking with animal and their bones. Skin looks more vibrant and supple it seems.

Is it possibly to only use chia seeds instead of hemp seed? Hemp seed makes me sick. Can you share how much you need to take and which fruits have the best source of proteins that are found in US
