« The one thing for those of us who have experienced trauma is that our pain was intentionnally (or not intentionnally) dismissed. So we learned not to listen or even feel our emotions. » This sentence was eye-opening for me. Well said.

“I really want people to learn the facial expressions so they can recognize truth”, love that!

Thank you for highlighting that people with autism can have immense empathy. I talked with a professor about this and I feel a lot of people on the spectrum are misunderstood to have no feelings just because they may have a problem expressing them in a way that is expected by others 💛 some of the most awesome people I know may be on the spectrum 💛

I asked myself how I had the patience to listen to an entire interview 🤔
Because its not an interview, but a passionate conversation between 2 extremely personable individuals, one eager to learn and the other eager to teach, on a subject that we can all resonate with. Absolutely loved this, well done Lewis👊

Idk this lady feels like an everflowing river of kindness and empathy. The crystal clear answer to the last question "What is Greatness?" says it all

Narcissists eye contact is usually so long it’s uncomfortable for the non-narcissist. They are sizing you up, like prey.

I have taught my daughter all her life to trust her intuition, and how to differentiate between persuasion, fear, logic, intuition, etc.

I wish everyone was as visually expressive and genuine as Annie. She must be so easy to engage with, she doesn't seem to use her knowledge to put up a front, but instead to act as a lubricant for communication.

Thank you. Never knew about her before this interview💛🙏🏼

I was speaking to a romantic interest the other day, and I noticed that he started using the phrase "our gym" instead of "insert gyms actual name". I found it odd because i immediately felt closer to him and recognised it as a subtle kind of love bombing. Then I wondered if I was being hypervigilant. In regard to sociopath or narcissists, systematically using specific language that they know "works", this makes perfect sense now.

When you live with a toxic person you have to act 24/7 the way they want you too. When you’re planning on leaving for good you have to make believe everything is okay. If they think you’re leaving, then they will hurt you!

When you grow up in an emotionally unpredictable home, you become really good at reading people. So I don't know all the technicalities and whatnot, but I'm generally good at getting accurate readings on people.

my narcissistic ex-husband told me on the phone after destroying his marriage, (and we have a three year old), “you know, I’m actually really smart.”
I did not argue with him on the phone because I knew better, but the things that I could have said….. there is a difference between IQ and EQ, there’s a difference between knowledge and wisdom, you can have all the knowledge in the world, and if you don’t have love, it’s meaningless….

“I don’t want to be loved for anybody other than who I am”, authenticity, loving a person and their soul. This whole video resonated. Thank you for sharing.

As an aging woman with hooded eyes in the time of social media and constant pics, I now know why I look crazed when smiling and lifting my eyebrows up 🤣🤪😳

Realizing trauma can look like narcissism makes so much sense.
