Lol ive been doing the doorjam rubber button for years, its like muscle memory.
(And ya, you do hear that lil "vacuum cleaner" sound in the quiet garage at times!).
My Toyota is 17 years young with every original part save for 1 set of front brake pads, tires and batteries of course).
I call it dramaless driving!
