I really dislike Elon Musk. But I think perhaps he was just worried about her doing something painful, permanent, and possibly disfiguring to herself, just to look cool.

In this case, I think he was correct. His statement wasn't rude or controlling or demanding. At least not the one I saw (something about how the procedure probably would result in more negatives than positives)

I'm pretty sure the majority of the images of the "elf ears" are prosthetics except the one with the actual stitches. It's in reality I pretty subtle change that just makes the tips of your ears sorta pointed.

It's a pretty cool body mod. But with any body mod you need to research the pros and cons and decide for yourself if it's worth it for you.
