Dude said “If Imma die, Imma die looking fresh.” I respect his game.

Idc what anyone says... Mr. Andrews was easily the most respectable, respectful and admirable person on the Titanic. RIP Thomas Andrews.

Titanic sunk under the weight of Guggenheim's massive bronze balls...

Guggenheim could have bribed or lied his way onto a lifeboat easily. Instead, he chose to wait to be properly allowed aboard a lifeboat, so as many women and children as possible could be saved. Even though he knew that was likely a death sentence.
Mr. Guggenheim was a good man.

For the monster that Cal is, there's no denying that if he didn't pick up the child the child wouldn't have survived, you guys may argue that she fell out of the boat when it tipped, but no, there is an extended scene showing the girl still in the lifeboat after Rose is rescued. So, good job Cal.

“But we would like a brandy!” 😂😂😂 I don’t blame him

Mr. Guggenheim’s valet/assistant was a man of color, therefore he would have never been allowed to get into one of the boats. Mr Guggenheim felt so wrong to leave him behind and it’s believed it’s one of the reasons he chose to stay with his loyal man to await death. Incredible story.

That was supposed to be Benjamin Guggenheim who was an actual person to board the titanic and said those exact same words
But did not survive

According to survivor's testimony, Mr. Andrews was last seen in that room adjusting the clock. The scene at 0:42 is a reference to that.

I met Michael Ensign this weekend and he talked about his experience on this film. He actually ad-libbed the request for brandy, as the scene was supposed to have him saying goodbye to Astor but they were unsure how to block it for that bit.

Thomas Andrews spent most of the time saving as many lives as possible, he made no attempt to get into any of the lifeboats. He was one of the real-life Titanic victims i truly admire. He accepted his fate and went down like a Gentleman. So did Ben Guggenheim. RIP Mr. Andrews and Mr Guggenheim and the 1500 other men, women, and children who perished that terrible night
