today we're doing arm muscles study on ibispaint x! I've been drawing a lot of portraits so I wanna do some muscle drawing for a change. I'm drawing Wriothesley from Genshin Impact on this video! This is not the usual art tutorial video, this is more like a study with me type of video, because I'm not very good at drawing muscles yet. I hope you guys can also study along with me in this muscles video!

You should draw muscles and all organic shapes with angular lines and avoid curves
This is because curves/spheres are inorganic shapes and don’t have any balance
The body is a series of weights and counterbalances
Drawing angular will also allow you to recognize more easily the ways in which a form turns in space
As opposed to curves which are indecisive lines and have an inherent vague-ness to where the form ends

Also it’s just a lot easier because perspective-wise cubes are king
