Today we are going to talk about the 10 best cities to live in after college, because where you live has HUGE impact on your overall quality of life. You might be expecting the best cities for millennials to be places like New York City or Los Angelas, but those don't even come close to making the cut! Let me know which of these best cities for young professionals surprised you the most!

When it comes to the 10 Best Cities To Move To After College you need to look at job opportunities, the cost of living, and of course how fun the city is. I researched dozens of cities for all of this information and narrowed them down to the best cities to live in your 20s. I've actually been to a handful of them myself, like Boston, Columbus Ohio, Minneapolis, Raleigh so I can confirm they are truly some top cities to move to 2021.You'll also notice that a lot of the best cities for young professionals are around big universities because companies like to be around places with high talent and colleges offer just that. I find it interesting that the best cities for gen z are moving away from what are traditional great cities to move to after college, like New York City, Los Angelas, and Chicago. Unfortunately, those cities are just too expensive and dont offer enough benefits to justify that cost. Now if you're still reading I appreciate you for being a real one, comment down below "I think I'm addicted to blue cheese" and I'll personally shoot you a thank you. I hope you enjoyed learning about the best cities to move to after college, I'll see you in my next video :)

The goal was to help you answer the question where should i move after college? Did I do it?

I live in Boston. Even if you get paid a high salary, everything is expensive here. I’m moving to Dallas ☺️

I went to Denver last year and it was so lit. Underrated city has outdoor and indoor activities, good nightlife, good food, etc.. I would take Denver over New York any day.

I assuming its Dallas, TX. Honestly many cities in Texas are witnessing incredible growth, especially in stem. Where the companies are located, others will follow.

I live in salt lake and there is really not much to do after 8pm also cost of living has gone up so your looking at about 1k-1.3k for a one bedroom apartment.

I live in Salt Lake City, its an awesome place to live. I moved there from the Seattle area in 2020. The economy is on fire and there are a ton of jobs for college grads and people like me who don't have a college degree. I work in construction and recently bought my first house. Looking to start my own business with in the next year. You don't need a college degree to make a good living. Anyway don't tell to many people about SLC we are trying to keep it on the DL. Thank you for keeping Seattle off this list lol.

I’m kinda late but omg this video is so accurate! Ohio is one of the best places ever. I went to vacation there once and it was amazing!!! The mountains in Utah and Colorado are also incredible. I was surprised how low the cost of living was. You’re also super right about people going to Austin. I live in Dallas near Austin and people are literally just mindlessly buying houses in Austin without seeing how the houses look like and the rush is sooo high since a lot of companies including Tesla are planning to go there. Welp, my comment is long-winded as usual. Nice to see u again and I’m glad u already have 20K subscribers (900 —> 20K). You’re rocking this!!! Anyways, thanks for all the useful videos you make. If you see this comment, do you have any tips for high schoolers on what scholarships to apply to and how to gain the most financial aid and stuff?

Lived in Salt Lake City my entire life and it has experienced exponential growth over the past 3 years. Young people from all over moving here like crazy. Real estate has become a riot. No way Jose will you find a rental for under 1200 in a decent place. Having said that, job opportunities are still amazing.
One thing to consider is winter inversions and summer wildfires. Last summer Salt Lake had the worst air quality in the world. Yikes!
Where these used to be rare occurrences, poor air quality is the standard now.

I was totally surprised by Salt Lake City and Raleigh being so high on the list. I just honestly have never really thought of them. I'm going to be checking them out online. I love that Columbus, OH is so high on the list. I've been looking into it for several months, and it seems like a great city....especially since it is similar to my home city of St. Louis.

I don't think I'd really wanna live somewhere with a bunch of college kids. I vibe more with 40 year olds going on hikes and taking their kids to the park than rowdy 20 years olds causing problems being drunk and loud

NC State has a much greater influence on Raleigh than Duke or UNC. NC State creates way more engineers than Duke or UNC which is why Raleigh is completely STEM based. Duke and UNC contribute more to Durham and Chapel Hill (both are similar cities to Raleigh). It'd be like saying San Diego is well educated because of USC and UCLA.
