Even in the original I always felt bad for the survivors of the valor that were barley hanging on like the person holding his leg and the other one stuck on the gravity lift

I just realized the only reason why that guy isn't dead after losing a leg is because the lasers simultaneously sliced his leg off and cauterized the wound as it was being cut.

I feel bad for survivors. In original game I've met a survivor woman. She was just... standing there and crying next to some body which was ripped in pieces. She was completely insane, isolsted from reality and didn't react on player. I thought that it'd be better to stop her misery but game didn't allow me to kill her.

I think we can all agree, we wanted to help him. Or at least comfort him. I remember standing near him until I’m pretty sure he died. In my play through, I’m just glad he didn’t die alone.

It honestly shows how dangerous the Necromorphs are, cause one can basically slaughter everyone. I mean we have these guys who are basically have military experience, armed to the teeth and ready for anything with better armor and equipment, even a nuclear missle. Yet despite all of that, a single Necromorph could destroy humanity which was good Isaac was able to stop Mercer from dooming the entire planet of earth.

I’m not sure if it’s already been mentioned, but you do come across this soldier missing his leg, again. As the Valor is falling apart/exploding at the end of the chapter, and Isaac is trying to escape, if you look down one of the corridors you can see the one-legged soldier desperately hopping on his one leg trying to escape the ship, as well.

What scared me more than Necromorphs were the normal people who had gone completely insane.

Like the one bloodied guy banging his head on the wall until death. Or the woman who was filleting some poor guy on the operating table with a hacksaw before cutting her throat. That’s nightmare fuel for me.

I love the remake of the soldiers armor but kinda wish EA would give us the original design as a bonus set to wear

i got so sad when i got there, i mean * spoiler: they were there to destroy the ship with the nuke * but i respect soldiers a whole lot, seeing them being destroyed by the alien/zombie made me really sad. but it does makes me question something, you can find the scape pod that led to all that killing, and there was 3 dead soldiers there, how a fully equip soldier ( with the best armor in the game btw ) and Stasis on their suit lost to 1 single alien/zombie

I was also hoping to see the poor unfortunate soldier that's was stuck on the ceiling. But since they reworked the gravity plating mechanics I guess they couldn't have him in the game.

still confused how a single necromorph was able to disable an entire ship of trained soldiers with stasis modules and the best Armor in the game as quickly and fast as it did, i guess you could make the argument that they werent equipt to deal with necros since the probably had pulse rifles and nothing good for dismembering like the line gun or ripper
