I am 18 years old. I was chanting the holy name and practicing sadhana for 6 months, at first everything was good and I felt connected, after a while I think I lost focus of the pure intention, I started feeling more agitation and laziness in my sadhana untill eventually I stopped. Now I am not doing good and keep acting out of my lower nature. I feel guilt in front of God, and sometimes after contemplation about spiritual topics I feel obliged to start again. This is my second time quitting my spiritual practice. I know it's weakness of heart, I know it's an offense to the Lord, and I also know He forever loves and forgives. Still I am doing the wrong thing, feel so helpless and shelterless in this world.
