Personally I find ice cream man to be harder than hot for teacher and I’m also glad to see push comes to shove is on the list, it’s a very underrated song and solo. Great job!

Hot for Teacher was almost certainly a single take on Eddie’s original 58 Flying V. Love the solos on this and somebody get me a doctor for the glimpse of how much Eddie STILL would have changed the game even if he never tapped a note or even had a whammy bar.

I really dont think any of EVHs solos were ever meant to be overly difficult. They were meant to go with the song and be repetable and great. And boy did he do that. He wasnt a stand there and play. He was all over when he was younger. He always played to his strengths and has the most distinct sound and style.

God must be one hell of a rock and roll fan with all the greats that left this world too early.
