the mr crowley solo is one of the strongest solos in history.

Love Eddie's chord progressions and tricks, but Randy Rhoad's solos are god level art.

I started playing guitar because of Randy Rhoads.

I learned 2 hand tapping bc of Eddie Van Halen.

I still play my Rhoads Jackson Offset V through my 1992 Peavey EVH 5150 tube amplifier.

And the winner is....ME bc these 2 men changed my life forever. RIP EVH & RR 💔

Was always a Rhoads fan. His rhythm guitar was more structured, where Eddie's was more freeflow bluesy. Both Great players.But the first lead break in "Mr. Crowley" always gets me misty eyed.

I prefer Randy Rhoades although Eddie Van Halen is still amazing

Two great masters, no doubt. But it's just amazing to think that even though Randy has been long gone His Riffs and Solos are still IN and could even compete with any modern day guitar player.
