I don't see the need for dual screen phones, and advertising is a terrible use. Now future phones, a while from now, with displays as thin and flexible as fabric, that is rollable and can be rigid when extended could merge tablets and phones.

It would probably cost about $5 billion to fix the energy grid so that an electromagnetic pulse can't knock that whole darn thing out for months and months and months. If we got directly hit with an Atomic weapon or solar flare It would be like the CES blackout times a thousand. And all these multibillion dollar companies that could all pitch in, what for them, is mere pocket change for some reason aren't. I'm not even sure if that's even talked about in the elite tech world. If they all pitched in to get it protected so that if the sun releases an X flare that comes directly at our grid they won't lose all their "internet-related" income they could have been generating while the grid is down.
