Flax from the Fold

Spinning Flax from the Fold. I demonstrate spinning different lengths of flax from the fold with a spindle attachment and flyer. Mainly showing that it is possible to use long line fiber to spin from the fold vs just short fiber.

I have made good experience with using cigarette papers as a quill on the bobbin/spindle. The larger ones from Rizla or Gizeh (I'm European so that's our brands). They are rather strong but thin and have this adhesive bit with which you can fix them easier :)
