This seems like the ideal matchup type (in terms if entertainment, it was very one-sided) for a bot as chaotic, powerful, and difficult to control as Depth Charge.
In James vs. Depth Charge, there was a large portion of the match where James just hovered out of reach, and Depth Charge was unlikely to hit anything if James didn't come for it.
Here, there's just targets everywhere. It helps that Crashfest was being ultra-aggressive, even pushing other bots into the fight.
"What happened to accuracy over speed?"
"There are many targets. You will not miss!"

Depth charge is my hero, I love seeing a gimmick taken to its absolute 100%, I want them to make a bigger box and let depth charge push it further. Depth charge but a v8 with a tungsten bar~~
