The 2025 ID Buzz Cargo IS HERE and it's (weirdly) the MOST EPIC new work van on sale in Australia!

However, it does come with a BIG price tag for this fully electric cargo van. Today we'll take you for a full review of the ID Buzz Cargo, looking at the exterior design, interior - how fast it is, how quickly it charges and of course how it drives.

How does it compare to the Ford e-Transit Custom or the LDV eDeliver 9? Let's talk about that in today's review!

From what I read VW in big trouble back in the mother land...

A quick Google search has commentary around the lower than expected sales of the ID Buzz with the worker strikes and possible shut down of the factory.

The Zeeker Mix is way better, craps all over this van, VW buzz is a poor effort they could have done so much more if they actually thought about who would buy it 👍

$100k (AUD) spec’d-up before on road costs for a commercial hauler, it would be a big decision for a business to commit to.
It would be interesting if the presenter took the van for a drive, stopped at a few random business (tradies on site, couriers etc) and got real world feedback considering price and range considerations.
Of course DC power is great at load moving, but for how many hours or km? This is all about doing a full day’s work and ensuring a business has the best option to safely put money on the bottom line. Good luck VW Australia.

I wonder who will be the first motorhome manufacturer to make an RV out of this.

I love the retro-cool looks and modern tech in the new ID. Buzz, but the price tag is a significant drawback for most U.S. buyers. Once you add insurance and monthly payments, it becomes a pretty hefty bill. It’s too bad because it’s such a fun concept—hopefully, Volkswagen or other brands will release more affordable versions in the future.

would be good to see a range test done full loaded to gvm on a non stop freeway cycle, basically the worst possible test for an EV

This looks loke a $20, 000 van but once u attach ev, every car dealership or manufacturer says, “scam them! $20, 000? No lets make it $80, 000 its got ev on the car! People are suckers!” My god cant i get a corvette at the lowest model for $80k even a used one i. Mint condition or any luxury car at $80k why would anyone spend this ridiculous amount for a vsn for christ sakes?

It would be nice if the tech worked for that kind of money. They should have called it the IT Buzz-ted

Another useless EV van at a very overpriced $80, 000. In 3 years time you will be lucky to get $20, 000 for it. I couldn't imagine anything worse than buying an electric VW van, the reliability will be terrible. My suggestion would be buy a Diesel Toyota Hiace van and still have some change in your pocket because its going to be a lot less than $80, 000 plus it will still have resale value in 10 years time when its done 400, 000kms
