I see An Post has a load of them for local postal deliveries. They do look good (and im not sure why, but they always bring a smile to my face)

On Saturday I had an Amazon freelance delivery driver bring us a package at about 19.00. I am pretty sure he had been on the road since about 08.00. His economic imperative is to get as many packages delivered (so weight capacity in the van) over the range he needs in a time frame which is dictated to him. He is probably on a starvation contract on a per delivery basis within a given time frame. He needs a van which supports that rather than one which is nice to be in and drives like a VW ID something. At more than €900 a month for the lease, I doubt he will be impressed because his starvation contract will take no account of that. A nice van but maybe not for the real world of freelance logistics.

Since this is commercial can it be modified to be a camper style vehicle?

Also typical VW. An extra 3.4K just to get a reversing camera which on a vehicle like this they know its a necessity.

Can we just admire how the cargo gets a front bench seat but VW decided that passenger ID Buzz customers want luxury and captain chairs, not the honest people carrier it should be.

Nice looking but a niche market. Van drivers buy what suits their purpose and not what looks good....the bosses do that. Priced too high.
Agree about flat spaces.
One pedal driving would be great for multiple deliveries.

It's too round and too small. It needs the angles and length of a transporter to be interesting. A tradie wont want to drive around in an inflated mini. Great video all the same.

Cargo van does not need to look cool. It needs to be functional, reliable, easy to maintain, and parts/labor relatively inexpensive. VW is not going about this the correct way. Whatever happen to their modo "the people's car" design/concept. If Germans are not buying, then why should the rest of the world.

$70, 000 and only 234 miles of range? I had to run that twice to believe anyone would be dumb enough to buy one. Don't use the AC or HEat or you'll be down to 200 and a HALF hr charge wait minumum on a FAST Charger if you can find one. On you 220v charger it's only NINE Hours!!! I'll keep my Caravan!
