This shit actually works. Mine wasn't as big as this one, so I was able to just use a sink. I also found using a microfiber towel was really effective to dry the top, using criss-cross wiping and "pick up" methods. And rising thoroughly. And also using a hair dryer (or your stove on a VERY low heat) dries it faster if you need a more immediate use. Thanks for the tutorial!

I prefer to use body wash or shampoo because they are alot more gentle and formulated to removed all of the same gunk out of your mouse pad that comes from your body. Dish washing or laundry detergent can be too harsh on a mouse pad and make it feel rough and make the bottom of the pad lose it grip and if it dose not have stitched edges it will start to peel up.

I use this same mouse pad daily for about 5 hours a day. I use a gaming sleeve but with that said, how often should I clean it? We talkin weekly, monthly, or yearly?

Pro tip. Place your mousepad between two towels, roll tightly (like making a jelly roll) and squeeze, DON NOT TWIST, just squeeze. It will remove a lot more water, quicker! Like the video says, avoid sunlight, also hairdryer will dry it too fast and could warp the rubber base. However, a fan blowing on it would increase drying time significantly. Have you tried boardzy’s cleaning method? He uses a Lysol disinfectant spray and wipes it down with a microfiber cloth. I was wondering if it works for you
