I can still remember the first time I saw a PSP. It was circa '07 or '08 and I worked as a data technician. So I'm on the job at a customers house and he's on the couch playing his PSP. I look over and say, "what is that." He was playing WipeOut Pure and the graphics blew me away. Then, he popped the first Spiderman movie into the UMD drive and my jaw hit the floor. I think I went out and bought a PSP the next day.

Make sure to have a memory card when using RetroArch! I did not have a memory card for my PSP Go and was only using my Internal storage. This was making RetroArch crash when loading (ms0:/) in Load content. In conclusion have a memory card and preferably install RetroArch on memory card. Hope this helps.🤗

TO ALL THE PEOPLE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE PSP GO

in this video he uses a PSP go but installs it on a memory stick. the problem is by default all of the retroarch directories are automatically set to memory stick locations. if there is no memory stick, nothing will load and the system will crash when trying to access these locations, as they do not exist. if you go into settings > directories then you will see all of the retroarch directories are looking inside "ms0" (the memory stick). So what I did was I went on my pc and created folders for each of the directories. I then put these in the root of the retroarch folder on the PSP. Then, back on the PSP, I went onto retroarch and to settings > directories and relocated all the directories to their corresponding folder inside the retroarch folder on "ef0" (internal storage). Doing this allowed me to save a new config file. However, it seems that retroarch doesn't load this new config file by default and instead keeps loading the default, non-existent one from "ms0". Unfortunately, I still had no luck, as it kept trying to load the default config, even when i selected the custom one un "ef0". I will keep trying and keep this comment updated.

Sorry about the long comment, i just want to give a detailed idea of the PSP go situation.

EDIT for some reason this is the only one I had to right click and save as, that worked
