Fun fact: I don't remember the store I bought from but I specifically remember the note beside the item online that said "Hurry! Only one left!" I decided to get it because I thought it was cute. After I purchased it I decided to go back and look at it some more and saw that instead of saying "out of stock" it still said "Hurry! Only one left!" So I don't know, either their website is REALLY slow or this is a marketing tactic of some sort to show other people are buying it or to maybe pressure someone into making a quick decision.

I remember a model talking about these absurd clothes. She basically said, anything you see that's outrageous on the runway is to get people talking about it. If people talk about it, the brand spreads and people will be curious of what other outrageous things these high fashion companies will pop out next.

You're absolutely right about thrift shops not accepting that crap. I used to work at one, and that stuff would have gone in the trash. And we tried to recycle as much as we could, and we gave what we didn't sell to charity, but we wouldn't give that to charity, because it's trash.
