As someone who works in pharmacy, please let these people have coverage. Omg it’s painful to see someone paying a ton for a medication they need.

I would rather full Pharmacare coverage than universal health care. Pharmacare is most useful after diagnosis, the right medication after a final diagnosis, for life. But I think UniHealthCare is reactive more than proactive,
Diagnosis is the x factor in rising health care costs, but also, lack of diagnosis. I believe lack of diagnosis adds to a culture of "unwellness" in Canada. Not saying UniHealCare is creating that problem, but that it has created cultures (both social and petrie dish types) where neurosis and stress can grow, and it gives some license to cheat, might facilitate addiction, and is a beaurocracy itself to get lost in going from doctor to doctor procedure to procedure. As I say I think that adds yo unwellness.
