I pray that everyone that needs this help receives it. My state did have 4 Phases of rental help assistance to assist and I got partial help with the 1st Phase; cause we lost our jobs and needed it, then there were waiting list and so many folks needed help that they ran out of funding. Once we were back working I didn't apply again, cause we were okay. Right now, Phase 4 is again a waiting list and no longer taking apps. I could have used more assistance now as I just got an eviction notice and am going through hardship since my LL went up on the rent as well as utilities and things have gone up. But blessings to those who do receive. I'm gonna keep watching these job videos and applying for 2nd positions to help financially

Thank you for this!! Just an fyi for anyone in Harris County (Houston), you have to be in active eviction status before you can apply. You can’t apply without a court case number. We received a notice to vacate on 6/13 and we can’t apply because we haven’t officially been evicted yet (thank God). Just wanted to throw that out there.

I live in Ohio I got help two years in a row I had to reapply each year for summit county cares act.and I also called 211 because my car got totaled and I needed a ride to work and they have a free ride to work program with Lyft where you get 20 rides up to $25 for a ride and once you run out you get a free bus pass.i told so many people at my job and they are thankful

It's sad that you got to literally NOT pay your rent to get help. Must be in eviction to get help at some places. I'm struggling but only late by 2 weeks. I hope I can hustle up my rent before it's too behind. I don't trust these systems.

I just got approved for my rent to be paid up for 6 months here in Oklahoma. It's such a relief and now I can focus on my future income and continue to build and prepare for life. This has helped me. Yes it's a long process. I believe I waited up to 3 months before they started emailing me and calling me. They kept me up to date on every step.

Thank you so much for this information. I wish I had found you a little earlier. I live in MS and it is always so difficult to get assistance without being an extreme state of hardship. This kind of brings tears to my eyes because all I need is a little help, without getting deeper in debt, to get back on track. During the height of inflation, our Governor decided RAMP was no longer needed, ppl didn't apply for it, so our state is doing great...sent remaining funds back to Washington.

If you’re live in cuyahoga county Ohio… try step forward or CHN… you do not have to have an eviction notice if Covid was the cause of your hardship… they just paid 7 months of my rent
