1000% AGREE!! I even asked during the stage channel - why did you launch the game if you didn't have a meta designer? We as creators also did not even know they didn't have a meta designer and kept giving feedback about progression and monetization to a non-existent ear for OVER A YEAR!

Kairos, as a mobile game data analyst,

when they say "top game" they don't mean top 100 in overall charts.

They mean top 10 in their genre.

So for example - a match 3 game from Supercell will only go global if it reaches the top 10 match 3 chart.

That's hard, but not impossible

I am not surprised tho. Considering the state of the game it was getting pretty obvious.

Though they reworked the progression system, it became very difficult to unlock new minis. I was completely F2P and even after proper and optimal resource management I was always lacking one or the other of gold and shards.

Another controversial topic was the state of SP minis which were not only broken (except Decoy Adept) but also costed a lot to acquire (especially battle machine).

The new classes were a great addition into the game but were released pre-maturely. The goblin and undead class were broken and were balanced multiple times and the most outrageous was the Rider class which was entirely P2W and broken at the same time. Some classes like the elixer and sea class had limited members as well while more members of other classes were added initially.

If only they would have adopted a guaranteed mini unlocking system (like starr road in brawl) the new progression system would have been great.

But sadly such masterpiece had to come to an end. 😔

Another thing that I think is important is for better and more transparent communication. We were ususally Months apart between news and the community wanted to help, but in order for us to be helpful they need to tell us what they’re doing, the reasoning and also what they need or lack for the game to go global

#kairosforever #saveclashmini When I first started playing Clash Mini, I was really hooked and liked the game a lot, however after the gacha update, it just all fell apart for me. I played Clash Royale very actively, however I started to slowly stop playing it after evolutions/level 15, until I eventually completely gave up on it. This is entirely my opininion, but I feel like Supercell really dooms their games with making bad monetisation updates (Clash Mini/Royale). I still play Brawl Stars actively and wouldn't you know it, their game isn"t P2W like Clash Royale with its evolutions that you put in your deck and automatically win.

I will say that on the iOS App Store in the UK, brawl stars, clash of clans, and clash royale are 27th, 75th and 77th respectively, so their current games are doing pretty well. Sad things is I honestly believe clash mini could’ve made top 50 at some point, it really had the potential.

#kairosforever i am just sad. i didnt spend money but the effort i put to max out every time was just wasted.not gonna play betas anymore i guess😢

The problem I see with Supercell is that is unrealistic to expect their games are gonna be played by many when only a few countries can download it and also how they barely have any advertising for their games. For example, the reason I downloaded Brawl Stars is because I received a pop-up in Clash Royale that the game was releasing and I could get Star Shelly if I registered my email, but then we have Everdale that I didn't even know it existed until I started hearing the news that it was gonna get killed.

Hi kairos, I totally agree! Supercell has set the bar too high after games such as brawl stars and clash royale blew up. It’s been around 7 years since they released a game globally, they really need to go over their conditions.
