A lot of music now a days are composed to meet industry standards of pop. The 80s are more like freedom of expression and more sincere. Not that this doesn't exist today, but majority of music now are not sincere and the composers make it to sound commercial rather than being real.

I’m in a long distance relationship and it breaks my heart not being with him every day. 2 and a half years of flying backwards and forwards and still we are trying to close the distance. But frustrations and emotions are rife and we fight more days than love now. Sometimes we give up only to find we can’t go a day without contact. This song perfectly fits my emotions right now because being with him we fight because we can’t be together forever yet and I can’t live with it, but as soon as we give up I find I can’t live without him. Not even for a second. I hope one day I can re-visit this post and say we made it. He’s the love of my life and my hero ❤️
