Sonos not working? We love Sonos as it provides a ton of music for your surround sound or whole-house music system. There are times though where Sonos misbehaves. If your Sonos system is not working, here are three simple fixes to get Sonos functional again. These will apply to all Sonos products including the Sonos 2021 line-up like the Sonos PORT, Sonos ARC and Sonos BEAM. This fixes about 95% of our clients' Sonos issues. NOTE: READ THE P.S. BELOW IF THIS DOESN'T WORK.

P.S. If these steps to fix Sonos don't work, open your Sonos app and go to SUPPORT then SUBMIT DIAGNOSTICS. This will give you a number. Call Sonos with this number and they will have insight into your Sonos system and may be able to steer you in the right direction.

Don’t buy sonos! They have no customer service and they update their app CONSTANTLY and every update shuts down your audio system. It’s a nightmare! Don’t buy Sonos crap!!!

This Sonos app sucks so friggin bad!!! It hardly ever lets me play anything. Why can’t they test and fix this issue. I’m spitting blood right now I’m so mad!

Do not buy the Sonos Move paid $400 and it stopped working just around one month after the warranty. I purchased a new battery and still NOTHING. Biggest waist of money.

My two era 300’s are not connecting with my beam and sub but they stereo pair to each other. I’ve tried the hard reset but they’re just not connecting. Also when I go do get them to pair with the beam and sub no sound comes out of the era 300’s. It’s a bit of a headache

I’m currently having trouble with my sonos one 2nd edition. I have it setup with soundcloud and am able to browse my playlists freely on the sonos app, however when selecting spotify (my main music streaming app), I am given a “Unable to browse music” message and I have tried many different ways in order to fix to no prevail. If you’re able to see this can you please offer some help if possible it would really mean a lot thank you. :)

We just added our 2nd video that goes more into depth on Sonos troubleshooting. Our 1st video (this one) was more for our clients where we have handled all of the networking and we enacted standards that make the systems pretty bulletproof. The 2nd video in the link below is what we see in the field when we HAVEN'T installed the system.

I have a Sonos Move and it's utter junk. It never works as it should - I have to constantly reset it. My sister has one too and it's the same.

Another Sonos tech tip (if we set the system up, we already did this): If your Sonos devices keep falling off your app (ex: you look at the app and you no longer see your devices), put your Sonos devices on a reserved or static IP. In most cases, this will fix this particular problem. We will be adding this to a 2nd Sonos "how to" video shortly.

Our video assumes that we set up the Sonos system. Our 2nd video will go over issues we see out in the field when we haven't set the system up initially.
