Just south of the five famous towns of the Cinque Terre, the port of Portovenere is just as picturesque. Bustling with sun bathers, boat traffic and waterfront restaurants, this historic town with its colourful buildings and steep cliffs is a world heritage site.

Loved Portovenere, still a real place where people live and work in a wonderful setting, a rich, deep history. Tourist friendly but not Disney-fied like the cinque terre, much prefer it.

Darn, we (italians) kept quiet about it but it seems it gets noticed more and more XD
Actually it's very welcome, most of the country is riddled with little gems (some not... that little) that are virtually unknown abroad, the more get known the more evenly spread travellers would be throghout the country (conversely making travels even more enjoyable) and during more seasons
And of course... congratulations, great video Matilda!
