We saw how kaido fought the worst generation and how he fought nika, the difference is huge. We can say that he was going easy on the worst generation cuz if he fought them at full power from the start then all of them would die instantly, also that means that he became serious after luffy awakened then we can assume that luffy beats him in a 1v1 cuz if he fights him alone with no help and uses gear 5 it would auto make the fight in serious mode, also in the end of the fight kaido didnt seem to be affected by the attacks that the worst generation landed (and the samurai)
