I really do love this season. While I think they could have gotten more creative with the alter, it is fun to have mutiple different progression trees. And the alter doesn't only just improve quality of life, it actually enables new builds which couldn't have existed before (because of the potion stuff). It's a shame D4 is likely to kill the cool inovations they finally started giving us with these later seasons.

I think Goblin Parties have a higher chance to spawn in Neph. Rifts in higher floors after downing the Guardian.
I had a few high density monster spawns after downing the boss and farmed for some gold and kept finding Goblin Parties.
It's not 100% spawn rate and it's not always on the very next floor and you do need to full clear to find them.
It's really great when you need gems and need to do a little extra gold farming.

Basically the double primals just makes it so you can instantly upgrade an item of your choice into a primal. So happy I’m done with the alter! Good Luck y’all!

Oh crap I thought 90's were the max drop. Sweet thanks for correcting me ill start running 100's! Again, loving your content becoming one of my favorite d3 youtubers pretty fast. This season has been amazing. I love the seasons but the hardest part of the seasons is usually the conquest and your done the season in a couple days. The alter AND the alters QoL changes has made this season special and truly enjoyable. I hope Blizzard catches on to this trend because it would seem many folks are loving this. P.S not having to pick up most of my crap is just so much smoother in reg rifts.

Double Primals drop from Rift Guardians and from Kadala. Crafting just gives one at a time.

reforging is expensive and you can spend 5k bounty mats and not get useful primal. best way to farm is doing speeds under 2minutes. thats the only way. No slack in town by identifying after each run. 32-38 games per hours is best. rest is just free time use and costs a lot. and to farm all those mats you need to run massive amounts of GRs and bounties. Thats why I recommend that ppl have friends with benefits that are doing cookies, so you can mainly focus on GRs and in between you take bounty. You need to invest some time in key runs because speed grs use a lot of keys. We run 150s every day 4p, lots of xp and lots of loot. but dont give ppl too much hopes because maybe 1 primal out of 50 is usable. If you use kadala for shards you better have some tools that auto salvage all non atients with one click and does kadala with 1 click. so basically you spend 3 seconds in town after finishing GR and start new one

I’ve farmed for the gibbering gemstone for about 5-6 hours now, been putting it off but I’m gonna have to grind a bit more today. Feels bad every time a primal drops and I don’t have the final altar upgrade

Two days ago in Season 31 I needed an ancient Hellfire Amulet for the Shrine. On my 6th try, using my last materials, I got a Primal Ancient Hellfire Amulet. I thought about keeping it, but the secondary effects weren't great, so I gave it to the shrine.

If short on crafting mats. Cheek vendors. You will need a pet however and made it into the season where your pet can scrap things. Dropping purchased gear will become scrap. You can also convert scrap.

You don't get double primals when crafting at blacksmith. You also don't get double when upgrading yellow (recipe 3) or reforge (recipe 2).

This video was really informative, I did not think the blacksmith would potentially give primals always thought it was kadala, the cube and drops but as another option it’s good. I also had no idea that you could only wear one crafted item from the cube if you upgrade and that it rerolls stats which makes it much more risky than I would have liked but overall extremely helpful Ty also dropped a sub to the channel

Primal shave been dropping like max for me this season. My blood nova necro has 3 primal perfect rolls not counting crafted primal. Actually landed a primal CoE last night. This season is busted. Hope everyone is able to deck out their characters in primals this season.

Thanks a bunch for this! I used the K. Cube method and transmuted it to an Ancient. It sucked and of course the game forced me to go under the 50 bounty items mark which made me have to complete ACT III, but I got the f***er. Thanks again for you help! LIKE and SUB. Keep up the great work!

I did the actual probability math for primal ancients on GR 100. You would have to do 361.84976525, or 362 GRs to have a guaranteed chance for a primal to drop. for those curious the math is 0.99=1-(0.99894)^x. x=4342.197183 and we divide that by 12 (1 for each item). If you do have the double primal drop, but the 362 in half.

New Level one wizard, set to adventure mode act 1 normal. Craft 6 rings, upgrade all 6 to legendary. Reforge the oculus ring two times. You get 1 puzzle ring and a primal. Stash them, delete wizard. repeat till you are happy. Nothing in d3 is random

Last season I got a kicass primal hellfire amulet (with the Awareness passive!!!). Season before that, Kadala gave me a nice primal Wraps of Clarity. As she says...anything CAN happen!

I've done over 150 GRs @ 110 and only primal I've seen is the guaranteed lv70 one. I always seem have the worst luck. Never seem to get even ancients from the cube.

Of all the ways to get a primal I don’t feel like “most people” don’t know about these. There may be some newer players who don’t know you can get a primal from a reroll, but the game is 10 years old. None of these tips should be new to 99% of the player base. The problem is that the primal drop rate doesn’t matter depending on the activity. It’s 0.4% to get a primal regardless of how you get your legendaries. But if you have the altar full then you should not be using some of these methods unless you are targeting a specific item anyway since most are locked out of the double primal final node. Kadala gives double primals and so do drops. I don’t think there is another activity that allows for doubles in game.

I would also mention if someone gets their primal at GR70 my advice would be to use it for the third potion on the right and not for crafting a primal. Your first goal should be to fill out the altar, and work on gear as you go. What people need to also understand is that primals are cool and all, but a really good ancient is better than a mediocre primal. You don’t need primals to have a good build. Focus on the altar and the base power increases it gives since they will be much better for your build than the minimal increase you get going from an ancient to a primal in the end.
