3:36 you can also make a custom challenge that is just a normal game. So when you lose in that custom challenge, instead of having to pay mm to reset that round, you will be able to do it for free! This means that you will be able to practice a strategy without having to worry about resetting progress when you lose.

A very very very powerful tip, if you know you're about to lose a round, just open the settings and go back to the home screen. You can then continue that save, which will be paused at the start of the round you left on. So if the big 3rd rush of 63 blows through, quit, come back to the save, and now you know what to buy to save yourself. Great in odysseys too. This will stop you getting the black border for CHIMPS mode though if you do it during that attempt.

This is basically what I did when I started. I just did hard to impoppable on all easy maps. I had all heroes and plenty of extra mm to spend on knowledge within 2 weeks. Can confirm this works.

Co-op should also pay a lot more cash. It almost makes Co-op not fully worth it. It's fun to go and play with another person but then doing a map that you would have got like 10 times the amount if you would have done it solo is just ridiculous like slight reduction potentially like say the players have to split X amount

Seems like common knowledge if you ask me, because i been doing exactly this since ever i began playing BTD6, but i can still appreciate it nevertheless as I'm sure it will help some that haven't!

I recommend you to play advanced or expert maps on hard or harder difficulties. I got around 600 mm per game mode depending on difficulty. Its pretty good.

If you have multiple devices with the game on you can have multiple saves so you can jump into a race, spend as much money as you want to get a nice time and if you think you spend to much just load a safe on another device

You can also get monkey money without doing anything, and it isn’t terribly slow.
Muddy Puddles deflation, place a 0-0-1 village in the bottom middle of the map, buy a 0-2-4 sniper. Sell the village and get 0-2-5. It beats all by itself and you get 66 monkey money every time you do it

Another tipp, I wish I would have found out earlier:

In the Netflix version of btd6, your getting much more money from all sources, because they do not habe an real money shop, so they don't need to make it THAT MUCH of a grind to get nice things without investing tons of euros. 😅

In the normal btd6, I have been tired of always watching out how I spend my monkey money and always withstanding the temptation of buying it with real euros, just to use the powers more freely, so I hacked it (because the shadowban back in the days wasn't as nasty as today, because back in the days, you just got thrown into the pool with all the others that didn't want to spend real money when you wanted to play coop, nowadays you're not able to play coop anymore at all).

And now in the Netflix version, they didn't implement the temptation hooks for real cash investment und improved the reward system, so I didn't even want to hack it even a little bit.

pro tip, if you beat a map in normal, for 99% of maps it’s the same thing in revers for a free 1st time bonus

Honestly yeah the 2 most important things I learned was to play more maps on hard for max mm; and 2 stop spending on resets. It’s only been 3 days since I got back into it and I already have psi and etienne unlocked

Also, play daily challenges. They sometimes take 2 minutes and give you 100+mm.

Instead of losing just leave the game (NOT the actual btd 6 I mean the map like click the settings then home) and reenter then, you know ur problem, and you just ya know, change ur defence
