Beam style is known for being more accurate than click style. Seriously where did you got that information from? You made it up right?

He left out the clicky-beam. That is a bendy beam type with the addition of a clicker that clicks when the torque is reached. You don't have contort yourself to look at the scale head on. Beam type wrenched don't need calibration. And they are the most reliable repeaters. They may be 4 percent away from, say, 50 pound-feet, but whatever the actual torque when they are reading 50 pound feet, the next fastener will have the same torque. When torquing say, a cylinder head, what is very important that all the nuts have the same torque. Not as important that the value is precisely correct. A "digital" torque wrench is not really a kind of torque wrench. You can have a digital readout from a clicky-spring torque wrench, or a bendy beam torque wrench. It is really an "add-on." Also you can measure torque with a digital torque adapter. It isn't a wrench. You put it between your reach and the fastener, and it has a digital readout and a beep. These are very accurate.
