I took care of a woman in home health and she had 3 of these. I fell in love with them. Even tried buying one from her cuz I couldn’t find them anywhere but she wouldn’t let me. Because of this video I was finally able to order it. I went to Barnes n noble in store last year and they didn’t have this. Didn’t think to look at their online store. I’m so happy to find it. With my eyes for some reason the normal bible paper gives me an actual headache trying to read because of the see through paper. Thank you for this video!!!

I just ordered one and found your video after the fact. Now I'm really excited for it to come. Illustrations are important because not everyone can read so well, especially children. That's why I like stained glass windows in churches that depict scenes from the bible.

Greetings from North Germany first. The first Doré Bible came out in Paris and London in 1866. Then iot came ot in the German version, the Dutch Staten Bijbel and other languages, In Germany there came out Catholik and Jewish versions.
A month ago I received a copy 120 years old in two volumes - very heavy. It is so amazing. It was the most eypensive book in Germany in the 19th century. Thank you for this video.

I have this Bible, it sure is pretty on the outside. The Edges by Gustave Dore are not printed in high quality, you wont notice if you haven't seen them in high quality in other books of course, but it's worth mentioning.
Secondly it is bonded leather with a low leather level.
The font is easy to read and cant beat it for the price of $18, -
Which brings me to the next point, it's made in China so there's poor working conditions with next to no pay to consider, if not child labor.
There plenty of pusses too of course but you can watch the video for those.

I got this Bible at Strands! It was like... $25 I believe. I literally went to the counter to double check the price and got it immediately once I was certain it was such a steal!
