In a similar predicment with even more negative flow and more credit cards than your example. I had to use a spreadsheet to figure out which cards to work on paying down and which ones to just pay my minimums. But this will immediately take me out of my $611 hole and put me about $200 into the positive. Thank you. As I knock out one, then I can begin to wipe out the next one even faster. 🎉

This is the strategy for me! 5 credit cards all maxed out. I paid a big chunk to one and they lowered my limit by that amount! Next paycheck I'm going to spread throughout my cards to free up $1k in Cashflow! They won't all lower my limit.

Unless you have one of those introductory zero interest credit cards, you'll need to remember to include the credit card interest amount that's going to be zapped out of your available credit as well - pay attention to the date that the interest is charged or that can mess you up if you don't take that into consideration. As long as you include the interest you'll be fine and this works.

This is my first month trying this out. I have 2 cards which were maxed out for the last 6 months or more. I always paid the minimum but never got ahead (not surprising). I get paid twice a month. I ran the numbers and split my expenses (depending on due dates) between the two cards so that I was wiping out the minimums on both plus more. For the first time, the balances on the cards dropped and my credit score went up 49 points in 2 weeks (unexpected). My numbers are all much smaller than the example in the video so progress will be slower. But I did nothing but pay regular bills and the card balances are moving down - I am so hopeful! Thank you!

honestly I feel like this is a realistic system for people who are really in debt. Dave Ramsey keeps on preaching about people need to get more jobs to make more money, sometimes that's not realistic. I personally commute a total of about 5 hours a day and then work 8 to 10 hours a day, so how am I going to get a second job if my work commute equals 15 hours a day. I guess he thinks I don't need to sleep.

I’m 73 and I started driving Lyft 5 weeks ago here in Vegas with the notion to apply my earnings to debt removal. I love meeting the people I pick up and being a service to the elderly as they go to their medical appointments so even when I get out of debt I’ll still do it at least 10-20 hours a week. This was exactly the strategy I was going to use for my 2 highest payment cards. I just started to watch you yesterday and love this concept. With my 2 higher payments eliminated with the VB $$ input then those payments will be gone but be working in the background to eliminate that debt. Thank you for this video!
