I just wanna say that yes you can get around Hokkaido with busses/transport etc. But it becomes a little inconvenient past a certain point. Whether or not you can do that on your first time to Japan/Hokkaido depends on your will/skill(?)/and time. I remember trying to head to Furano and the mountain on my trip and time simply didn't allow for it, and I was there for 6 days. It's possible of course. A car would help a lot! This is also advice I've heard from Japanese people themselves, quite often. But hey, go for it if you want!

As for other Susukino recommendations: Utage is the most popular club and there's no cover charge for foreigners and Booty is also a nice no cover-charge hip-hop club. Another bar similar to Rad Brothers is called Bearfoot and its in Tanukikoji.

No mention of ramen in Sapporo? You gotta go to the sapporo miso ramen alley when in sapporo, its literally one of the top ramen areas in JAPAN!!!
