Today, I’m going to share my personal Top 10 Best Practices for Power BI. Over the past months, I’ve released a series of videos showcasing a number of best practices addressing the 4 pillars in Power BI report development. I talk about some of the best practices I’ve incorporated throughout the years of my Power BI learning journey. I’ve consumed many resources which have been instrumental but have quickly become overwhelming. So I made my own notes that are easy to digest and hopefully these will be useful to others. This will be a little different from the traditional Top 10s — rather than a ranked Top 10, I will instead be presenting my Top 10 favorites.

I also use the underscore prefix to name my variables and @ for new columns in virtual tables, it's the best for readability

Very interesting tips 👌.
I specially loved the last one start with a table then switch to the desired visual and it let me understand way some MVPs use this technique.

On the topic of data staging queries, I load a monthly update from two flat files in two " From folder" queries. Is it best practice to load each month into two separate staging tables for transformation? The files are a source for Facts and a source for my Customer dimension. Thanks.
