row level security is used to hide certain data (eg: confidential data ) from other users in power BI service.
This can be done after creating the dash board in the report view and in model section,
go to manage roles, create a role with some name,
go to tables and selecting the table which you want to hide, go to table permissions then add filter to define filters,

now go to home, then view, then roles, assign user by entering their mail id
Now publish the dashboard on power BI service

Row level security is like an access control method through which the end users access to report can be restricted based on certain parameters ( for eg- geography)

RLS is a feature of Power BI it basically help us to restrict user to view report or visual. It will help us to restrict the report based on some given rules and filter based on user credentials. RLS is basically two types one is Satatic RLS and another one is Dynamic RLS. Static RLS is basically apply on particular rules and filter after creating static rls it could not be changed by user specific but on the other hand the Dynamic RLS will change based on user credentials specific based on user credentials it will show whatever access he or she have on report. That is Dynamic RLS. After creating a report in power bi desktop then go to modeling tab and managed roles then create roles based on dax and apply filter and go to Power BI service your report dataset ellipse then select security and add member to role you created in Power bi desktop assign those roles into the members.

RLS using PBI
For organizational access control, I utilized the Account field in Dataverse along with Azure B2B Authentication. This approach involved associating roles in Power BI Desktop with specific accounts. In Power BI Services, I then linked these roles to security groups, ensuring thorough access management. Additionally, I employed modern business units in conjunction with the account table in Azure B2B. This allowed me to create custom security roles, providing granular permissions that differentiate between store workers, vendors, and owners. In the Power BI Workspace Reports.

In a Power Platform project, I implemented row-level security (RLS) in a Power Apps Portal(A.K.A. Power Pages) for customers. Using Power BI Embedded services within Power Platform Admin But first I started by creating a role in Power BI Desktop and utilizing the Dataverse Contacts table. I mapped the 'adx_username' field to 'username()' for specific user data access, integrating Azure B2C Authentication. Furthermore, I customized the property for the contact to accounts using a security filter. Additional configurations were made in Portal management for table permissions and roles
