This dude was my guitar teacher! It’s so weird seeing him here it’s like they forced him to be as clean/bland as possible but his name is Matt and he’s both a fucking crazy badass player and such a genuine guy! Studied jazz guitar at chaffey college with him for a year and learned so much from him it’s not funny. I know you probably won’t see this Matt, but if by some chance you do, I’m still incredibly grateful for my opportunity I had to study with you, and am immensely proud of how you moved up, I hope this fender job is treating you good! Hopefully you can see me play someday again to see how far I’ve come. Thank you for helping me find the my fire and confidence to play in front of other people, we both know I had issues with that haha. I don’t think I could have done even half of it of it without your help.

With this two chords, you can play the base of the solo from "Gravity" - John Mayer

They are teaching the"G" in the most unused fingering. Drop the index finger off the low "E" move it to the "A" string at the 2nd fret. Use your middle finger on the 3rd fret of low "E" use your pinkey or ring finger on the 3rd fret of the high "E" this will help you transition to the "D" and or "C" chord easier.

In Mexico, we teach the newcomers G Em Am E7, we call it "G Circle". Recently, I changed it with G C D, for a fast introduction to the common chords, then A D E, after that the chords with bars.

Never heard of her but she's a good player.  I am not a Strat guy but have played these and they are VERY nice.  Too bad they are not making any custom or artisan versions with some nicer finishes.

These are the 2 easiest chords ever, apart from a minor of course, i once watched a chap in my local town and he did'nt seem to know how to play one chord of any description, everybody has to start somewhere 🎸

Everything is way too perfect in this video, it's unsettling.

I remember my first chord progressions. I went with a rock style progression which was G, Em, C, and D7.
