On the ground floor I would investigate what it would cost to make the fireplace functional. If too expensive I would demolish it to provide more space for kitchen counter and cabinets. I agree with the idea of a half or wet bath in the nook. For the rear space, it's hard to tell how high the ceilings are from the video but I would put in a false floor to bring it closer to the height of the kitchen, with a hidden "hatch" that you could lift up with stairs underneath for storage. On the first floor I generally agree with all the comments you made - change out the balcony doors with double pane glass, and repurpose the doors elsewhere. Add a privacy glass window and door to the bedroom to allow light into the back of the property, and maybe replace the railing with some rustic glass doors (maybe the ones from the balcony) to give more privacy. Agree with the sofa bed and bathroom comments. On the second floor I would create an owner's suite with a sofa bed, then a double bed and put a full bathroom at the end of the room (this is over the kitchen and should be accessible to plumbing). Privacy glass doors on the balcony and bathroom let light into the suite. Turn the nook over the stairs into a closet.

Oh my Lord, what a beautiful place which would be absolutely stunning once renovated! I love when you make suggestions. I would do all that you suggested on this property. I would gradually make renovations with the kitchen being the first priority and finishing the bathroom. I would definitely reveal the ceiling in the kitchen. I love star vaults! I probably would keep the plaster on the walls, maybe revealing some stone but not all. This way light is well reflected. Definitely the bottom space off the kitchen would be a living space lounge, I would add a bathroom in the corner you suggested. The top floor would be the primary bedroom. I would add a nice size bathroom under the skylight. That space that’s over the stairs, maybe incorporate that into a walk in closet. Because it does not have a terrace, I do like the ideal of that outdoor space across the street. Like you said bring a chair, some beverages and get to know your neighbors😊 Love it!

I’d put my bedroom down in the cantina. I love dark and cool silence for sleeping. Also room for a closet and bathroom. First floor as you say, guest bed room with sitting reading room. Top floor main living room, with daybed and a WC. The funny bit over the stairs I’d wall off from the steps, light the ceiling, and line with shelves to create a reading nook with a foam mattress and lots of cushions.

Beautiful, character filled property! I can just imagine it finished. Not sure I could live in that dark room you are suggesting as a lounge, but there is plenty of living space throughout. A cosy, rustic kitchen would only accentuate the charm! I prefer a property with views of the open space and not buildings, even if they ARE centuries old.

Yes a large bathroom, bedroom suite upstairs with stone revealed in places. On the area above stairs I would build book cases/display case with lighting. Love the idea of Living room downstairs with rustic kitchen. Love this property so much and all the expensive items have been done. Thank you!
