Now I realise that Ventress suffered a lifetime full of abandonment, first by her clan, her owner, her jedi master, her sith master and mother talzin again. Not all of them were voluntary, but at the end she was always alone. I love how at the end she started to learn how to live on her own.

She held her own and even outsmarted some of the strongest Jedi ever. She held her own against both Anakin and Obi Wan several times, defeated Grievous in a duel, nearly killed Luminara Unduli.

She’s a very VERY powerful user of the dark side.

44:58 You know what... I finally get why Commander Wolfe sounded so scared when Ventress grabbed him and threw him into the pole. I just remembered that Ventress was the one responsible for taking out his eye awhile ago, and he was going up against her without any backup. I give Wolfe props for still willing to go in against her knowing that he could lose a lot more because of it.

I love the novel Dark Disciple, highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t read it, but I really want it to be retconned. I really want her to show up in the new Ahsoka series, that would make me beyond happy. She is one of my favorite characters of all time.

Asajj is such a complex character. Cunning, arrogant (rightfully) but with a sense of pride and honor (will not betray), will seek vengeance relentlessly. There's a hint of empathy and occasional tease. Fate has it that she has undergone so many trials, what height would she have risen if allowed to stay with the Jedi order.
