Is this the same when setting up a 1/8 or 10 scale monster truck? Should my chassis be level with my A arms like straight even or should it be peaked up above? My threaded body shocks are only down like a quarter inch from factory. Thanks rich.

But to a certain amount changing the spring rate you have to change the shock oil as well. Cheers from southern Germany

i ordered the pro rally when they did the sale for $200, great buy! currently my only 10th scale although it is big for a 10th scale

Not intending to be overly critical as i know this is intended for beginners. What's being demonstrated here is spring preload adjustment. While this can impact ride height I don't think that's what I'd call it as there a lot more to it than that.

Good video I don't know if you have done this yet but have you made a video about what shock oil to put in 1/10 scales or 1/8 scales that race like the tekno and losi?

For rc drifting is there a way that I can do weight transfer like being realistic as possible like where the damper compress down when I do a slide ? Or is just adding more weight?

Rich, Thanks so much for this... some things I just make assumptions on and this was one. I appreciate the insight and I've used your video to set up my suspension similarly. I do have a question about the ProRally for you. I've noticed that mine seems to be almost front wheel drive. I've pulled both diffs out and found both empty with little grease, so I have cleaned them up and put 10K in the front and 3K in the rear. It's a little better but still feels like the front is pulling it along. I haven't touched the slipper and noticed the car is really louder now when running a full throttle (gear noise). Am I missing something? Also looking forward to more of these thanks!

So if we add spacers, it makes the ride height higher?

Can you make a video explaining camber setting..

But those clips aren't for ride height? That's adjusting the pre-spring of the coil spring which changes your spring rate which is what in turn changes your suspension's handling characteristics.

Hello. I have a HPI Racing. e10. it does NOT have threaded or oil filled shocks. How do I adjust the height? I just ordered shock spacers before noticing the clips won't clip on the shock. CN I put it on the bottom of the shock?

You don't change ride height by changing suspension stiffness. All you do is end up with the height you want, but now your suspension settings are wrong.
