I've had my 2025 Jetta S for nearly a month now, and I love it! For a base model...I'm extremely impressed. It's fun to drive, very roomy interior, and I get good gas mileage. A few people have commented to change oil every 5, 000 miles, instead of the recommended 10, 000. So that's what I plan to do.

The Jetta and Civic are both solid choices! The Jetta has a sleek design and a comfy interior, while the Civic is known for its reliability and sporty feel.

Love my 2019 Jetta I wouldn’t trade it for any other car besides this newer version. Currently sitting at 142, 000 miles with zero issues so far. I know, I drive a lot lol.

I’ve always liked the Jetta. I’ve seen it as the upscale, substantial compact sedan and a way to get some driving character/experience of an A4/3 series at mainstream price. Nice to see these updates.

I drive a 2021 Jetta S and I love it, but man this new refresh looks NICE. What attracted me to the Jetta is that it's literally the only compact car being offered where you can get a turbo engine and an automatic, NO CVT! Great gas mileage, looks great, and don't let the 158 HP fool you. The torque makes up for it so it's sneakily quick and accelerates good, more than enough passing power. It's also one of the roomiest compact cars on the market, so it doesn't feel small or camped in the inside. What really won me over is that almost all of their options are STANDARD across all model, including the base model S. And lastly, it's one of the most affordable compact cars too with good reliability. I haven't ran into an issue other than basic maintenance.

Folks sleep on this due to what Volkswagen used to be in the past, unreliable and expensive to maintain. But that's not the case anymore, I can literally confirm that as I used to drive a 2004 Passat, and that was a money pit lol.

4.5 weeks ago I test drove the 2025 Jetta SEL. Although I was leaning toward the Honda Civic Sport, I decided to lease the Jetta. I love it! I'll be taking it on a 4k drive in a few weeks. Looking forward to it. I REALLY like this car and am thrilled with it (much more than I anticipates...) A great car at a great price.

The Jetta has been quiet over the years, and Isurprised it's still rolling. I always wanted a passat back then

Passat is gone but there's no need for it in the lineup anyway when the Jetta looks this good, especially this mid gen refresh. There are a lot of desirable German cars in the used market but a brand new Jetta or Jetta GLI might be the way to go instead of putting money into a used Merc or S4.

We have bought for ourselves and children in past few years at Don Jacobs: 2018 Atlas, 2019 Jetta SEL, 2019 Beetle and 2023 Taos. For all those years of ownership since new and over 200, 000 miles we have had one unscheduled stop. No other brand we have owned has shown this level of depends and lack of issues; this includes Honda and Toyota. My wife wants the 2025 GLI Manual so looks like we may be visiting Lexington again soon.

Very nice car. It sells for 8500 US dollars in China. I bought 10 of them for our employees. it works perfectly.

I'm happy to see this car still being sold, and yes, we need more competition from non asian brands, I have a kia forte that I like, but I want more choices.

Happy 2019 Jetta owner here. Great gas mileage, even better than what was on the sticker. 😊

To the brand haters, how many of you service your cars? I had a 1998 model golf 4 1, 8. I sold it in 2023. I bought it in 2001. (Daily driven). No problems, and i did the service at the dealer, every time the service lamp in the car started flashing. Most people dont take care of their cars..

The options are so bizarre. No rear vents, but heated rear seats available...?

A really cool comparison would be the Jetta VS the Kia K4, as they both got refreshed recently. Nice video, guys!
