California plant transforming sewage into drinking water

In the midst of California’s historic drought, cities and towns are looking for any source of water they can find. That includes a water recycling process some call “toilet to tap.” Ben Tracy reports.

So, my teacher said that "water is recycled everyday through the water cycle, so dinosaur pee was also recycled into water. It evaporated the water part, and left the other minerals. Our sewage is also recycled into the water we drink." and I just told her "so basically, we're drinking ancient toilet water?'' she just said yes.

They should send the additional cleaned water to all our dry or near dry lakes before dumping anything into the ocean.

We are truly living in a dystopic future, I remember in Middle School we had signs telling us not to drink the water from the sprinklers because it was Reclaimed Water

We do that here in Washington state and we are not even on a drought, sorry California but you cant be choosy this time. Besides its not that bad its probably gonna be cleaner than what you have right now.
