I got one of these pots to make coffee for my father-in-law and I before I would take him out to the hospital for his treatments for a bone cancer. He mentioned how he loved the strong coffee his Italian coworker would bring for him sometimes, so I thought we would have our little ritual as we got him ready to go. He did pass last summer but I still use my moka pot and think of him.

my mom has had a bialetti since i was a kid. still remember the smell of it brewing in the mornings so strongly i could recall it watching this video. she still has it and uses it, 25 years later. love companies who craft things made to last.
