Which folding bike stand should you buy? $14 eBay model vs $65 Topeak LineUp

In this video, we compare a $14 generic eBay model and the $65 Topeak LINEUP folding bike floor stands. Both are compact floor bike stands that are easily portable. We'll go over each bicycle stand's features, build quality and stability in order to see how they compare.

The $14 generic is sold on eBay through various overseas vendors and has a simple aluminum folding design. Sold as a hub stand / repair / parking / display folding bicycle stand, the generic model sells for $13-$35 dollars. The stand is designed to fit over the rear wheel axle with plastic connectors.

The Topeak LINEUP is a compact floor bicycle stand that retails for $65. With a polished aluminum design, the Topeak uses a folding swing arm design. Not surprisingly, the build quality and finish on the Topeak model is excellent.

3:37, it will fit 100%, just pull both sides of the stand outward until it fits, it's metal and malleable.

I agree but the generic stand can be use for quick checking of tire balance or greasing of chain will turning the pedals because it will let the tire off the ground..whereas the topeak wont move the tire because its just use as a bike stand..by now year 2021 there are more sturdier generic bike stand..i think if there are quality generic stands its a winner winner chicken dinner..since it can be use as a bike stand and a maintenance stand for turning bike wheels...while the topeak stand serves as the purpose of letting the bike stand alone.

Generic stand is much better as it can be used for derailleur tuning and chain lubing, topeak one is useless for me.

Those are diffrent stands for diffrent purposes
The expensive one is for cycling at home
And the cheap one is for fixing the bike
