My biggest suggestion would be to take advantage of your text book.
Even if your teacher didn't cover some of the topics in pre-calculus during algebra 2, they are there in the text book.
Take the time, copy the lessons word for word in your notes, then do the exercises.
I have done self study using the algebra 2 textbook and it at least touches on everything in pre-calculus.

I'm doing alg 2 as a sophmore and next year im either doing pre calc or stats, after completion I will do ap stats since I know I can't handle ap calc. Additionally I find most math boring and hard, but not stats as I find it interesting to analyze data and apply it to the real world; unlike algebra and most likely calc. Most people, including my math teacher, tell me to do pre calc as it will be extremely beneficial for university but I'm leaning towards 2 years of stats and I know I'll be happier if I do, but at the same time I'm scared if I don't do pre calc I'll have problems with getting into a good university and with doing courses in uni. Additionally, I plan on doing 5 aps next year and am spending most of my time training to get recruited to a D1 soccer school, which is another reason why I wanna do stats, as it's less time consuming and I'll have more time for ECAs and school work. Which is the best math path for me?

oh geez tbh
i stopped at algrebra 2 in hs. i just was not doing ok (mostly geometry) geometry kicked my butt. i hated it. i think i should have taken at least pre-cal in hs. but im doing it now in college. not looking forward to trig but i will keep my optimism high :D

I get the feeling pre calc is the most material of all the calc 1 through 3 in hs precalc took 4 years I gdt the feeling we go through calc 1-3 in three years
