Who Is The Best Hologram? | My Opinion On Wuthering Waves Tactical Holograms

The Tactical Holograms are my favorite part of Wuthering Waves. They may not be the easiest or hardest bosses in gaming but for a gacha game (at least from what I've played) they are unrivaled in my opinion and are very enjoyable. Now in this video I didn't want to bring up any issues related to lag or latency. Instead, I wanted to focus on the Holograms by ranking them, sharing my thoughts about them and if some people are struggling, hopefully giving some useful information. I really hope the WuWa community remains positive about the game going forward and I hope to create some content to keep the game I enjoy alive for a long time. I didn't mention this in the video but the current Holograms make me look forward to future Holograms of current bosses and getting more unreleased world bosses.

in Crownless 2nd phase, you can equip counter echoes like the crane, then when he flies up to do the barrage combo, and flashes red. Use the crane. It will cancel the whole combo + shut him down for a long time for free dmg

Since you've already completed every boss no hit and mentioned "bench mark Mephis" I might not be able to add much here. I still wanna share thoughts though.

Boss difficulty order and enjoyment relies heavily on the character used and how invested it is. Kinda obvious but let me MAKE THAT CLEAR.
Obviously, fighting a Boss like Mephis or Crownless, which mainly offer parry timings and will run into the player, favours melee characters with quick and easy parries.
And vice versa, the 2 bird bosses keeping their distance leave more room for ranged characters.

Now let's look at basic stat comparisms: 1) Heron is the easiest. The boss has only a special and a sneak attack or two, that's it. Hp okay, dmg okay.
2) I've HATED monkey on low levels for it's insane HP and DMG but it's the BEST on high level. It's slow and slaps hard, but never unfair nonsense or erratic attacks. EXACTLY. PERFECT.
3) Aix has little HP but insane DMG and trick shots, and it's VERY FAST PACED. The lacking visiblity & clarity for its attacks makes it beyond frustrating. There is a bug with it going forever airborne too, out of attack reach or just vibing up on the big rock ridge that extends into the arena. It's too punishing, one touch means one dead character, no use healing. Also the camera JESUS CHRIST.
4) Mephis combines the worst of all bosses + THE CAMERA. Huge HP, DMG, trick shots, speed. Some terrible visual cues, but basically if the light turns red you dodge. Much like Aix, trying to revive a character often will be met with an instant death so yeah, yikes. This boss checks for so many things, some are out of the player's hand or comfort zone, making it a very unsatisfying.
At the end of this boss I just wanted the pain to end and nuked it with a respectably maxed-out Jinshi. Might revisit it with my Chixia once a critbuild can be afforded to half the fighting time.
5) Crownless I can't judge well. It feels the same as Mephis, so ima nuke it and that's that. It's combo is deadly but some character can skip that with long animation and delete the boss with power.
TL;DR if a boss turns into a mandatory stat check (mephis HP) and an enforced no hit run (Aix) then it's not very fun, worse if visual clarity & camera go haywire. If it's a satisfying bonus? Sure, sign me up. The game is new so let Kuro cook.^^

There is actually a very rare attack from hologram crownless, its a three hit combo in his second phase, where it does not show its usual fire effects, its only happened twice for me that attack, i even thought it was some bug at first, but then it did look legit, maybe the fire effects were bugged, it both happened after i used the cyan bird echo to parry its second phase air combo, keep in mind it was the purple bird which stays in the ground not the green one which strikes up to parry, after the parry, crownless just stood there idle and i thought it was gonna do the side step and knife throw but no it did that unexpected 3 hit air combo, incase ur wondering how i would decscribe its very similar to the real crownlesses, air combos where it goes behind u after the tornado

I agree a lot with this videos and learned some things about other holograms other than mephis and crownless as I was hyperfocused to the two. One thing I discovered against mephis is that I discovered is that don't lock your camera against mephis. It's not hard to pan your camera around really and the big reason why is that everytime mephis does an attack he will always teleport and it will always be at the very center of your camera. So after you parry mephis just pan your camera away from the corner while doing dps. That way mephis is so much easier to read and his clones don't feel as random anymore. One or two times after I discovered this, there was a run that didn't summon a clone. Just keep him away from the circle wall and everything's easy

Memphis is fun to play against just the right balance

I'd pick crownless over memphis simply due to his fairness, memphis clone is just simply annoying 😭

So Mephis was the first one I fought. I am only level 50 and don’t have access to good equipment yet.

For me it would be crownless as No.1 but tempest memphis dethrone him cuz of those crazy laser beams and the clone thing.. But in 1v1 combat tempest memphis would be the easy one for me.

about the memphis locking ur actions, i have actually never experiened at all with him, when immobilizing i can here the stun but it has never locked my action but what has locked my actions is with scar phase 1 when immobilizing vibration strength reduced, it has happened multiple times, has it ever happened to u ?
