You should compare ETH PoS compared to ADA PoS. BTW, Cardano started out as a fexerated chain without PoS before Shelley.

The reason TVL is lower on Cardano is because you don’t have to lock your ADA while you stake it, unlike Eth, SOL, etc. Besides this, MOST projects, including the one I’m building, have been awaiting the recent Vasil Hardfork.

Just to be correct: Voltaire phase is already in the kitchen since quite a while. A vibrant community is in progress with learning to govern a decentralized open source platform. This is about technology, process and PEOPLE. The ‘lagging behind’ is intentional. We are in the very beginning. how long did it take to eth to do all this.... lets not forget that eth was working much much earlier on the smart yes it has more .... but those gass fess ....how about people loosing their money....and on top of that eth is fallen back from Cardano since the merge will take them a long time to reach where Cardano is now ... no offence for eth holders i am one of them too .... but i strongly belive that foundation is the number 1 and Cardano has the strongest foundation

Alonso didn't disappoint. Cardano has smart contracts now, and within about one year there are already way more smart contracts on cardano then there were in the first year after Etherium got smart contracts.

Good analisys CTO, appreciate it. Just to add to your research. Hydra is not the main scalability solution of Cardano. Besides pipelining, and Input endorsers (this one is massive) as you mentioned. There are other solutions currently building on top of Cardano. Milkomeda which is an EVM sidechain live today looking to become a rollup, also IOG has a high speed Mamba sidechain on the works. And also Orbis which is a ZkRollup which is a very ambitious project. Important to note that TVL is not a useful metric to measure adoption and many times misleading, and it also will improve dramatically after Vasil after the launch of the Djed stablecoin and important lending protocols that are waiting for it, these 2 are the most important drivers of TVL

Overall this is one of the best videos on Cardano's tech that I've seen in a high-level video. Well done. A criticism that I'd make is fairly comparing the likelyhood of ETH or SOL successing over ADA long-term when comparing Security, Decentralization and Speed (TPS). IMO, Cardano is leagues ahead of most, if not all smart contract platforms across all three key metrics.
