This Is INSANE - Skyrim Has MULTIPLAYER Now

When Skyrim launched in 2011, it was clear this was a special video game. So special, it has been released a multitude of times. This next step in its rather unpredictable journey is one I don't think many of us saw coming. Skyrim now has multiplayer and if that's not crazy enough, it is actually really good.

Pinning a quick comment cause I still see some complaints rolling in even though I updated it 2 minutes after the video went live. Removed "officially" from the title which I was using in reference to the mod itself and its finished state, but understand how in combination with the BGS logo for the thumbnail how it looks more like an official release from them. Genuinely wasn't going for any trickery there, but apologies on my oversight.

I've been playing with a friend for a couple of days now after setting it up with some mods, not many, just a few that definitely enhance the experience, and despite the bugs and desync here and there, it's truly fun and chill to just hop in and just do some dungeon crawling without micro transactions or pay walls in the way, refreshing honestly.

I HIGHLY recommend a few mods if you're trying this for the first time, so far we haven't noticed any bugs, there might be down the road however:

- True Directional Movement
-Sky UI
-Better Jumping SE
- TrueHUD
- RaceMenu

These mods combined bring the experience to a more modern and refined experience for sure, so far me and my friend reached Markarth without fast travel, cleared quiet a few dungeons and so far, about 3 crashes in 8 hours of gameplay, not bad I'd say. Just make sure that everyone involved has the mods installed and the same version as well.

It does have some glitches but nothing game breaking. I've been playing with my daughters. We are having a absolute blast.

As an xbox player it does kind of suck that it's only for steam, but just realizing that it's a possibility has made me so damn excited. Sick video dude.

7:55 Hamachi doesn't host the server. Hamachi is basically a private tunnel (VPN, but not like Nord VPN). LAN play can be done without hamachi, and port forwarding can be used for internet play (if you know what you're doing).

Hey Matty, I really appreciated the video! I have been re-discovering Fallout 4 recently (my first BGS game), and I really enjoy having a voiced protagonist. I have gone back and played New Vegas so I see the value in having more choice, but I’m bummed to see it go in Starfield. I would love to see a dedicated video about this!

With the new 1.1.0 update they just put out today, I'm yet again excited to jump in and have that authentic Skyrim experience with a few of my friends! We've waited so long for this and I almost can't believe it's actually working well enough to play. It's a good day to be a part of the robust modding community 😄
