A Dowagers Hump is sometimes referred to as a Neck Hump or a Buffalo Hump.

The hump is often the result of faulty posture.

The good news? It is completely reversible!

In this short video, I demonstrate two simple and effective exercises one can do just before going to bed.

Another factor in reducing the Hump is the height of the pillow. Reducing this is not easy, but I am sharing three simple steps how to achieve this.

You changed my life... I have been doing this only for about 7 days and it’s almost gone!
My neck and back muscles hurt from getting used to my new posture. I have had a back him for over 20 years! Since I was a little kid.
I was very self conscious about it people had said I have a “natural hump” 🤢 thank you so much 😭

When you mentioned getting a thinner pillow, I looked back at my bed and saw my flat, worn pillow that i absolutely CANNOT sleep without and said, " I knew it! And my Mom thought I was silly for sleeping with a almost non-existing pillow!" But, in all seriousness, sleeping with bigger pillows really hurt my neck, so I couldn't sleep at a friend's house or a hotel without waking up with a sore neck and a headache. I'll definitely try these tricks out tonight and see about getting rid of my hump!

Thank you for this life-changing video. I have a neck hump myself but after watching both videos, I am hoping to implement these strategies into my routine to reduce my neck hump. You are a life-saver. Namaste or God bless!

What if you're a side sleeper? Sleeping on my back is something I've never been able to do.

Wow, I am 51 and that curved neck looks like mine. I have slouched for most of my life. I did not know no pillow was best, and those exercises sound great. Thank you.

I’m so glad I found you! I thought it was just me. I don’t wear pony tails unless I’m wearing a hoody. I have always had long hair. Never wanted my hump to show so never cut my hair! I would love a pixie cut. Also backless shirts and or dresses was always a no for me. I’ve sees your other video before this and have been doing these exercises. Also it’s has helped me catch myself when I’m presenting bad posture. I’m more aware when I’m slouching. These combined with the ones from the other video, should help me right?

I've been gradually reducing the amount of pillow I sleep on for the past few months and it's helped so much with my neck pain and migraines, but still have the hump.
I'm going to give these exercises a try and see how it goes! Just the couple minutes of practice ones I tried during the video felt nice.

Who else watched the rest after 1:15 supporting their head from the laying position?

For 40 years I slept without pillows and never had that fat growth on my back. 5 years ago, I had surgery for breast cancer, and they removed some lymphatic nodes, and I began to use two pillows to avoid sunrise in the morning with inflammation due to the retention of lymphatic fluids.

Now I have that regrowth on my back. And I have followed his advice, I have removed the pillows, but I have a recliner bed, and I can raise the mattress a bit. I feel better. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for these videos! I thought it was something I was just going to have to live with and that made me sad I have been very self-conscious of it to the point that I really watch what kinds of tops I'm wearing so that I don't accentuate it! Thank you!!!!
