How to cook with meat sauce the Italian way
Ingredients for 4 persons:
• 2 cans of polpa (fine cut Italian tomatoes), each can usually contains about 400 ml
• 500 g of organic beef
• 400 g of spaghetti (quality pasta, possibly with at least 12 mins cooking time)
• 1 red onion
• 1 garlic piece
• basil leaves
• rosemary leaves
• salvia leaves
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 shot of red wine
• olive oil
• salt
• pepper
• sugar
• fresh chili
• a few fresh olives

A simple step by step guide (for both beginners and pro's) on how I cook spaghetti with meat sauce - in Italian also commonly called "spaghetti al ragù".
You will learn:
1. the importance of choosing quality ingredients that will make the difference
2. the possibility to choose certain homegrown herbs
3. the challenge with respecting the right timings
4. that quality food is not necessarily expensive and neither difficult to prepare
5. finally to become more independent from restaurants with homemade quality dishes (especially those many scam ones) - this is important in times of lockdowns!

This is probably one of my most frequently cooked dishes.
