I remember asking my coach how to beat a technical outside fighter. He said "be a better technical outside fighter" and then laughed and walked away.

I really like a well timed inside leg kick on a pressure fighter stepping forward. It will either off-balance and square them up leaving them open for some strikes (people reflexively open their arms up when their top half suddenly jerks forward off balance) or cause them to fall forward onto their face. I’ve had success with it against both smaller and taller pressure fighters. As always great tips Bazooka! 👍🏼👊🏼

I'd love to see a video on how to use the aggressive pressure style...

Lead arm extended to keep the distance, front leg teep is my bread and butter against pressure fighters. Don’t forget to circle.

Great vid. This fighting style requires solid cardio

At last an *intelligent* video on this subject. It only stands to reason that the quickest strikes at the greatest distance and quick evasive movements that put you in a striking position make the most sense when faced with an attacker who rushes in flailing away. X1000 outside of the ring. But it would be nice to see some examples full speed, which few videos do, and which is when it counts.

Awesome content. I had such a hard time with this massive pressure fighter at my gym. I was using alot if movement and he said ‘ hey quit moving so much’ he was one of the coaches so i had to listen. But movement is the key. Thanks for the great tips joe

Happens to me as I started kickboxing in February and a guy who's been doing it for 13 years is fighting his ego. Got him few times but he really needs to get one sometimes.

I’m a 6’3 (220 lbs) pressure fighter coaches constantly yell at me for not staying behind my jab

I like using longguard or just holding my left fist onto their forehead to keep them away. Sounds really stupid but actually works really well when someone tries to rush in a straight line.
